Can I use FMLA leave during pregnancy or after the birth of a child?

An employee can use up to 12 weeks of FMLA leave for the birth of a child, for prenatal care and incapacity related to pregnancy, and for their own serious health condition following the birth of a child. Employees can also use FMLA leave for the birth of a child and to care for their spouse who is incapacitated (due to pregnancy or child birth).

See the FMLA Policy for more information. If you need additional assistance, contact your HR Consultant.

Leaves are managed through the HRM Records Department. To initiate a leave request, click here.
