An employee must have completed at least six (6) months of continuous service in an eligible employment category prior to the last day to withdraw from a course without paying full tuition as published in the UAB Class Schedule and/or catalogs.
- Undergraduate students must have at least a 2.0 undergraduate grade point average
- Graduate students must have at least a 3.0 graduate grade point average
- Employee classified as a graduate student but registered for an undergraduate course must adhere to the graduate grade requirement
An employee who fails to maintain the appropriate grade point average, he or she will not be eligible to participate in the Educational Assistance Program until the grade point average reaches the appropriate level.
