Parking for employees is on a first-come, first-serve basis and restrictions may apply to some parking facilities. The two types of employee parking are campus and remote.
General
- Campus parking includes the parking facilities throughout the campus area that are within reasonable walking distance to various buildings.
- Remote parking is located in three designated parking lots on the western edge of campus and a shuttle service is provided to transport employees to their work locations.
- NOTE: Employees who are enrolled as UAB students are ineligible for student parking.
Hospital Employees
- Hospital employees are placed in facilities based on parking policies established with the assistance of Hospital Administration.
- A fixed shuttle route is used to transport employees throughout the campus area.
Campus Employees
- Remote parking is located in three designated parking lots on the western edge of campus.
