- The Accrual Available Balance displays the Accrual Balance as the encumbered balance. The encumbered balance is the amount available on the current or selected day but takes into consideration any upcoming takings and future grants while avoiding overdrafts. .
- In the example above, 67.17 hours is the amount that could be requested at this time without causing the available (unencumbered) balance to overdraft. The screenshot below shows the point where the available balance became 67.17 hours.
- Campus Time & Attendance does not allow negative balances and will display an error message if a time off request will overdraft the available balance. An employee would need to remove existing time off or submit time off under a different accrual type in this case.
