The Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF) is a federal government program that forgives the remaining balance on your direct student loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under specific repayment plans while working full-time for a qualifying employer. UAB and UAB Hospital are qualified employers.

All PSLF Forms should be emailed to humanresources@uab.edu
- Remember to remove Social Security numbers prior to submitting
- Allow 3-5 business days for the form to be processed and emailed back
- This is a federal government program, not a UAB program.
