The Hospital Attendance policy.
- Is used to track time and attendance of the employees.
- Employees would receive an occurrence for any unplanned:
- Absences
- Tardiness (including late return from lunch/break)
- Unscheduled early departures
- Missed punches are counted as occurrences.
- Occurrences are calculated as follows:
- Total of five (5) occurrences (for any reason) = Documented Verbal Warning Additional Full Occurrence(s)
- Total of six (6) occurrences for any reason = Written Warning Additional Full Occurrences;
- Total of seven (7) occurrences (for any reason) = 2nd Written warning (may include suspension and/or imposed probation)
- Total of eight (8) or more occurrences (for any reason) = Termination
