What is the Hospital Attendance policy?

 The Hospital Attendance policy.

  • Is used to track time and attendance of the employees.  
  • Employees would receive an occurrence for any unplanned:
    • Absences
    • Tardiness (including late return from lunch/break)
    • Unscheduled early departures 
    • Missed punches are counted as occurrences. 
  • Occurrences are calculated as follows:
    • Total of five (5) occurrences (for any reason) = Documented Verbal Warning Additional Full Occurrence(s)
    • Total of six (6) occurrences for any reason = Written Warning Additional Full Occurrences; 
    • Total of seven (7) occurrences (for any reason) = 2nd Written warning (may include suspension and/or imposed probation) 
    • Total of eight (8) or more occurrences (for any reason) = Termination
