Current Employees
You can update your personal information by accessing the UAB Self-Service Application. Other details such as your campus address, job title, or department, must be updated by your department's Oracle HR Officer.
To get started, access the Oracle Self-Service Application:
- Log into Oracle HR & Finance.
- Select UAB Self Service Application in the left navigation section.
- Select Personal Information from the center navigation section.
Update your name or ethnic origin
After accessing Oracle Self-Service Application:
- Click the Update button in the Basic Details section.
- Click the appropriate radio button.
- Click Next.
- Once your information appears, update the Name Fields and/or your Ethnic Origin.
- Click Next.
- Review the Proposed Changes section.
- Click Submit.
Update your phone numbers
After accessing Oracle Self-Service Application:
- Click Update in the Phone Numbers section.
- Update the Mobile or Campus field with your correct information.
- Click Next.
- Review the Proposed changes section.
- Click Submit.
Update your personal address
After accessing Oracle Self-Service Application:
- Click Update in the Main Address section.
- Click the appropriate radio button for what needs to happen.
- Click Next.
- Once your information appears, update the Address Fields accordingly with your correct information.
- Click Next.
- Review the Proposed changes section.
- Click Submit.
Previous Employees
Update your name
Provide legal documentation that demonstrates the name change to HR Records Administration at hrmrecords@uab.edu. (Name changes cannot be completed without valid legal documentation.)
Update your address or phone numbers
Contact HR Records Administration (hrmrecords@uab.edu) and provide previous address/phone number information and new information in the body of the email. For faster service, include your BlazerID or employee number in the message.
