Which document(s) can be presented during an I-9 appointment?

Employees are allowed to choose which documents to present during an I-9: Section 2 of the Form I-9.

• Employees must present original documents.
  ONLY EXCEPTION: Employee may present a "Certified Copy" of a Birth Certificate.
