Please contact the Benefits Office to schedule your retirement appointment with a Counselor.
What to expect in your first appointment:
- Complete your application
- Designate your beneficiary
- Review how retirement will impact your current benefits
- Discuss insurance options
Note: Your retirement application must be received by Teachers' Retirement System (TRS) no less than thirty (30) days nor more than ninety (90) days prior to the effective date of retirement.
What to expect in your second appointment with a Benefits Counselor:
- Review your income options
- Notarize your final income option election
- Certify your PEEHIP Enrollment Application (if applicable)
