UAB employees may apply for a leave of absence by going to www.uab.edu/leaveofabsence.

- Select the leave type you are needing
- After reading the options and more information for your leave type you can click next steps icon
- Use the UAB Leave of Absence Request App link to complete your request
After applying, you will be notified via email of your eligibility based on the time of employment and hours worked.
