How long does it take before a job is filled?

It can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months to hear from the department regarding an interview or to get a “Not Selected” notice from us.

  • The length of time varies based off of the number of open positions that the recruiter has currently, the number of applicants, and the urgency to fill the position. 
  • As one of the largest employers in Alabama, we may get 800+ applications for one position.  
  • Top candidates that meet or exceed the minimum qualifications of the job (as listed in the job description) are forwarded to the hiring manager who schedule their own interviews from the top candidate pool.
